| 12/07/11 - Red Hill Lutheran Church in Tustin (near the junction of the 5 and 55 Freeways) has an opening for a
Soprano Section Leader for the church's Chancel Choir. The position requires attendance at a weekly rehearsal (September through May) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday evenings and a rehearsal and worship on Sundays from 8:00 to 10:00 am. On the final Sunday of each month, the singer is expected from 8:00
to 11:00am. The Chancel choir produces two community concerts per year, in which the section leader is expected to sing and perform as a soloist with orchestra. The position also requires major festivals and holidays (Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, etc). The section leader will also be expected to provide solo special music on occasion. Compensation: $450.00 per month (one rehearsal and service off, with paid sub, per semester).
